Collections

Ali has managed collections of all sizes from the 5,000 objects in small independent museums to over 1.8 million objects in the York Museums Designated collections. At York Museums Trust Ali managed the curatorial team and successfully led on Accreditation,
reviewing all plans and policies. She installed a new environmental monitoring system across the stores three main sites and off-site storage.

Ali has also reviewed collections at Thackray Medical Museum and led on the procurement of a new Content Management System for the collection.

As a Museum Mentor Ali has advised Epworth Old Rectory, Beck Isle Museum, Malton Museum andthe Ryedale Folk Museum
